Z-Tronix, Inc. is a global supplier of products and services for original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Industrial maintenance, operation & repair (MRO), Hospital & Healthcare bed installation & repairs, and building construction material.
Since our inauguration in 1997 in Southgate, Ca, Z-Tronix, Inc. has continued to develop and expand its product line and customer base to OEM, Industrial, and Medical markets.
In 1998, the company’s founder, Roy Jahangard, established manufacturing of wire harness & cable assembly to complement our interconnect product line. In-house value added services of wire dye & stripe was added in the same period.
Acquisition of Daine Products, a San Jose based Authorized Connector Distributor in May 2001 was a strategic move for Z-Tronix, Inc. to expand its interconnect product line. Daine Products was founded by Ken Fugate in 1981 with over 20 years of experience at Electro-Term, Inc. Hollingsworth and had established sales internationally.
In 2nd quarter of 2002, Z-Tronix, Inc. established an Import/Export department helping customers to compete in the global market by sourcing standard and custom products, consolidating shipments to reduce freight cost with lower minimums and/or exporting finished goods and raw material to international markets.
Z-Tronix, Inc. invested into new Inventory, Logistics and Contact Management software in 1st quarter of 2003. The new system has allowed Z-Tronix, Inc. to be one of the first to apply the “Lean Manufacturing Concept” in a distribution environment!
Acquisition of Pacific Mill & Mine Supply Company (PM&M), a Gardena, Ca based industrial & medical MRO supply company in August 2008 expanded Z-Tronix, Inc. products into new markets. PM&M was founded in 1907 by Mr. Dwayne Folson who started in Fresno, Ca. PM&M quickly expanded into four locations. In 1963 Mr. Cleo Larby acquired the company and moved its headquarter to Gardena, Ca. Mr. Cleo Larby retired at age 82 in August 2008.
The Value Added services of Inventory Management, JIT System, and Consigned Inventory Programs offered by Z-Tronix Inc. has helped customers to focus on their “Product Development and Production”, leaving the sourcing and handling of raw material to the “Interconnect Experts”.
Z-Tronix, Inc. is currently operating out of its headquarter facility in Paramount, Ca with consigned inventory programs throughout North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
Z-Tronix, Inc. has manufacturing partners in China, Spain, and several locations in USA.
