Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) ingredient also referred to as Tefzel is a polymer and fluorine-based plastic designed to thrive in high corrosion settings, as well as, diverse temperature levels. ETFE insulated wire not only has a relatively high melting point but, is  great at resisting chemical, electrical and high-energy situations. ETFE is said to have a tensile strength of approximately 42 MPa (6100 psi) with a working temperature range of 89 K to 423K (-185’C to 150’C or -300’F to 300’F).
